The Township offers a brush pickup courtesy who are physically unable to move brush on their own. Brush pick up is a service reserved specifically for residents who live on Algonquin Township maintained roads only.  The Highway Department reserves the right to modify the schedule, and move pickup or drop off dates, when necessary.

GUIDELINES:

• Must live on a township Maintained Road. Not sure if you live on a Township maintained road? Click HERE to view our interactive map.
• Submit a request on-line or by calling the office, 847-639-2700 x6 NO LATER THAN FRIDAY BEFORE PICK UP
• All brush must be placed on the right of way easement, within 5’ of the roadway with butt ends facing the roadway. Please keep piles to a 15’ span
• All butt ends of branches must be facing the roadway
• We will accept branches 2” to 15” in diameter
• Brush placed out after the fact will not be picked up until the following brush pick up.
• Branches 2” to 15” in diameter, branches no less than 4’ in length.
• Bundle branches less than 4’ in length with twine
